Why Schedule Online?
Students can now schedule their Winter 2009 classes online. Many of you might be wondering if there is a benefit to scheduling online…and there is. Here are some of the reasons you might want to schedule online.
- You can schedule first. The online scheduling opens before we start in house…get the classes you want NOW!
- If you want to take an online class, you MUST schedule online. It is the only way you are allowed to take online classes.
- No lines! You don’t have to wait in line to see your academic advisor. The online registration is available 24 hours 7 days a week. Schedule at your convenience.
- Your schedule is still reviewed by an advisor. You can pick your classes and your advisor will still review it to make sure you are moving toward graduation.
- Scheduling online saves you a seat in the class. Once you schedule online, your seat is reserved until your advisor approvals your schedule. This can help you get a seat in the popular classes.
Remember, you must submit your schedule to your advisor for approval. When you do that, your classes will show up as “Reserved.” If you don’t see the word “Reserved” beside you classes, you have not submitted them to the advisor or they are already full. Your advisor will only e-mail you if there is a problem with your schedule. If your classes are approved, they will change from “Reserved” to “Scheduled”.
